SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Position Duties:

• Manage multiple grading projects
• Train other soil technicians
• Maintain and organize field records, maps and data
• Perform site investigation, observation and testing
• Identify soils and have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications
• Prepare field dailies, memos, reports and proposals
• Draw cross-sections from plans or field mapping
• Interface effectively with project managers, technicians, contractors and clients

Position Requirements:

• Provide own vehicle for off-road use
• Must have a knowledge of general earthwork and grading specifications
• Must know geologic formations in the area
• Must know basic soil engineering
• 5 - 7 years of active field experience in earthwork and grading
• Strong organization and written/oral communication skills
