ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN I
Position Duties:
- Conduct basic field density and moisture testing of compacted fill and asphalt
- Prepare written documentation of test results and daily activities
- Interface effectively with contractors and clients
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma (Associates degree preferred)
- Good communication, math (computational) and observational skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds, walk long distances quickly, operate hand-controlled testing equipment and read maps and plans
- Provide own vehicle for off-road use
- Desire to work out-of-doors for full days
