LABORATORY MANAGER

Position Duties:

  • Responsible for Quality Control for testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, reinforced steel)

  • Responsible for review and evaluation of the engineering properties and performance of construction materials

  • Manage and train laboratory technicians

  • Manage the budget for projects

  • Prepare change orders and proposals

  • Review Laboratory test data

  • Prepare technical reports

  • Review Submittals

  • Attend all required meetings

  • Supervises a various number Laboratory Technician employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Registered Engineer
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills (written/verbal)
